Indoor Maternity Pictures – Bemidji Maternity Photographer

This is the 3rd time I’ve had the privilege of photographing this cute little family.  It has been fun watching their little girl grow up, and soon their little boy!  I was so excited when the told me the good news!  Since it’s winter up here in Northern Minnesota, we decided to do their session inside their home.  I’m so glad we did!  The colors were gorgeous!  Her house if full of rich browns and blues.  This is one of the reasons I love taking pictures at client’s homes.  It makes their pictures unique and personal.  We can incorporate things that have meaning to them.  Another huge benefit is that the photos that end up framed on your walls go perfectly with your decor!  This was such a fun maternity session!

Graduation Announcements – Birth Announcements – Christmas Cards

I LOVE to get pictures and announcements in the mail from friends and family.  Many times they send them to share a life changing event or to wish us a Merry Christmas. Either way, I love them.  So much, in fact, that I have kept every single announcement and Christmas card I have ever received!  That’s right!  I have a lot of them!

Because I value the importance of announcements and cards, I have decided to offer them to all my customers.  Each card is custom designed with much thought and attention by me personally.  You pick the photos, and I put together a design to compliment them.  This service is offered exclusively to my clients.  It is such a fun way for them to share their special photos and memories with friends and family.

Below are some of the designs I have put together.  These are printed on a high quality 5″ x 7″ card stock   They are great for graduation announcements, birth announcements and Christmas Cards.  They are the high end option for someone looking to send the “wow” factor.

These next examples are 4′” x 8″ announcements.  These designs are only one sided and printed on photographic paper.

Get dolled up for your photoshoot!

Who is the first person you look for in a photograph?  C’mon.  Be honest.  You know it’s yourself.  How do I know?  Because I’m the same way!  We all are!

When I look at photos of myself I rate them on a scale of FRAME IT to DESTROY IT FAST SO IT CAN’T BE USED AS BLACKMAIL!  Photos are permanent documents reflecting who we are.  We all want to look our best in them.

I am a firm believer that everyone I photograph is beautiful.  My goal as a photographer is to capture that.  I want to show your beauty.  I want to show the world what I see in you.

Maternity Shoot in Northern Minnesota

We lucked out on a warm day in mid-April for this outdoor maternity session!  It was so much fun!  If you’re looking for fun ideas of what to wear for your maternity shoot, check these photos out.  Katie brought the most adorable outfits!  We were able to fit in three different locations and outfits.

We started out in a field with the pretty lacy dress.  The softness of the dress with the long grass made the scene look somewhat dreamy.  Then we moved to downtown Bemidji by Harmony Coop for the bright blue dress.  The bright colors that their building offered were just fun with Katie’s bright dress.  Then we finished off at Grant Lake with the black outfit.  I love how the black didn’t compete with the landscape.  It really brought the entire scenery into the photo.

Little Rylan

Rylan turned 1!  I was able to take pictures of his mom when she was pregnant, so I was really excited to take pictures of him when he turned 1.  From belly to toddler!

Julia and Mike

I was so excited when Julia contacted me to talk about setting up a maternity session.  We ended up scheduling it for when she was 9 months along.  Usually we try to schedule them at 7-8 months so the mommy isn’t as uncomfortable, but we weren’t able to fit it in before then.

The day of the session, she turned up with her husband Mike.  I was actually in orchestra with Mike in high school.  It had been 10 years since I’d seen him.  They were such a lovely and sweet couple.  Julia has to be one of the prettiest preggos ever!  I was amazed she was 9 months along.  She was moving and looking like she was only 7 months!  The session went great, and I love how the photos turned out!  Congrats, Mike and Julia, on this exciting time in your life!
