Debbie and Rick – A Beautiful Vow Renewal

This was the first vow renewal I’ve ever photographed.  I knew it was going to be awesome.  If you know Debbie and Rick, you know everything they do is awesome.  They are so friendly and sincere.  It was a privilege to be there to witness and photograph this special day.  There was so much joy and love between not only them, but between their family and friends too.  Even though these two have been married for 15 years, they still look at each other like newlyweds.  I’m not even exaggerating.  You can tell that they are the best of friends.  I’m honored to know them.  Congratulations, Debbie and Rick, on your love and steadfastness!  Here’s to the next 15 years!

Hiawatha Beach Resort Family Pictures

This family is BEAUTIFUL!  They are loving, thoughtful and compassionate.  I had so much fun taking photos for them.  We took the pictures at Hiawatha Beach Resort on Leech Lake.  What a gorgeous location.  If you ever need a vacation spot I highly recommend this place.  It has everything and the price seems too good to be true.  Check them out at http://www.hiawathabeach.com/   This vacation was very special to this family.  They were celebrating the great grandparents 65th wedding anniversary.  65 YEARS!  That is SO romantic!  I just can’t get over how nice everyone in this family is!

The best way to photograph children is in their own environment.  I love when kids are able to be themselves and have fun.  Here is a shoot I did for little Tommy.  I absolutely adore this boy.  When I showed up for the shoot, he was acting so shy.  He kept running away from me and hiding.  I just hung out a while so he could get used to me.  Finally he warmed up to me, and I was able to sneak a few shots of him smiling.  What a honey!
