Christina and Bill – Concordia Language Villages Wedding

It was so fun to be back at Concordia Language Villages for another wedding!  It is such a beautiful and unique venue nestled up here in the MN Northwoods.  It was special to Bill and Christina because they had spent many summers attending camp and working here.  It also happens to be where they met and fell in love.

I loved that their wedding was a weekend long celebration with friends and family.  Many of them came from far away to partake in the festivities.

Chelsea and Justin – Leopold’s Garden Wedding

I have another BEAUTIFUL wedding to share with you!  This was a gorgeous one filled with sparkles and glam!

This was my first time at Leopold’s Mississippi Gardens.  It was a pretty venue on the inside and out, especially with views of the scenic Mississippi River as a backdrop.  It was the perfect place for Chelsea and Justin to exchange their vows and celebrate with loved ones!

I’ve had several opportunities to work with the bride’s family over the last few years.  It is always fun to hang out with this crew.  If you know Chelsea, you know what I mean.  And it’s easy to see after getting to know her groom, that he fits right in.

One of my favorite details from the wedding (even though there were so many) were the groom’s socks!  That’s right!  His socks!  His lovely bride surprised him on their wedding day with socks that had beagles on them.  Why beagles?  Because they have an adorable little beagle named Bugal that was not able to attend their special event.  It was a sweet way to have him there for the festivities.

Jaci and Tanner – Ruttger’s Birchmont Lodge Wedding

I have been so excited to share this GORGEOUS wedding with you! Jaci and Tanner are such a sweet and fun couple! I had the privilege of knowing them and some of their family before they were engaged, so I was super stoked when they choose me to document their special day! I knew the wedding was going to be beautiful, and that the day was going to be spent with some of the coolest Bemidji people I know. 🙂

We started the day at Jaci’s grandparent’s house. It was a special location that we were so grateful to use. They are located right next to a park so it gave us the opportunity to capture images with a variety of backgrounds that were unique and sentimental.

Look at this beautiful bride!  Her dress is unlike any I’ve photographed before.  The lace detail on the back was amazing!

KD Floral never disappoints!  These florals were stunning!  I loved the variety of colors and textures!  They could not have been prettier!

I always love when a bride and groom get to see each other for the first time on their wedding day.  I like to give them a few minutes just to be together since the rest of the day will be so busy.  It’s such a special and sweet moment!

 

Jaci and Tanner chose to host their celebration at the newly remodeled Ruttger’s.  If you haven’t been there yet, you should definitely check it out.  It is a great location on Lake Bemidji with an appetizing menu.

And of course this awesome bride and groom left a little time in their schedule to take a stroll along Lake Bemidji at sunset.  SOOOO ROMANTIC!  The weather couldn’t have been better!

Kailee and Danny – Bemidji Photography

Kailee and Danny were so fun and so full of smiles and laughs all day long!

We started the day at their beautiful family farm up in Clearbrook.  It was the same location we did their engagement pictures at this past January.  Brrrrr…It was so cold in January!  But the cold was okay to put up with since we got to be chauffeured around on snowmobiles by Danny and Kailee’s dad!  Her dad was such an amazing help at their engagement session and their wedding day!  Thankfully their June wedding did not require snowmobiles and snow boots!

I’m glad we were able to do all of the formals at the family farm.  It gave us a beautiful variety for backgrounds and also an opportunity to take pictures at the same romantic location that Danny proposed at.

We were also able to end their day with sunset pictures out on Lake Bemidji.  (You might even notice the “behind the scenes” picture of me working.)  I really love how these turned out!  We had such amazing light all day!

I recently e-mailed Kailee asking her how their experience was working with me on their wedding day.  I was blown away to receive back such a sweet review.
