I have been so excited to share Macayla and Gile’s wedding! It was a beautiful day filled with beautiful details. This is the first wedding I’ve photographed at the Bluewater Lodge in Walker, MN, and I was not disappointed! The grounds were so pretty and made for a gorgeous backdrop for the outdoor ceremony.
One thing I got really excited about were the bridesmaids dresses! I love that they were mismatched and sparkly. I’m a girl that loves sparkles! Some of the dresses were long and some were short. They all had different necklines and colors too. I just love how they were all so unique!
Even though Macayla and Giles planned their wedding in a short 6 months, everything went together perfectly! They also incorporated some very creative ideas. I do believe this is my first wedding with a donut table at the reception. It is also the first time I’ve seen a bride and groom forgo the unity candle tradition and replace it with unity welding. That’s right! Welding! They took two pieces of metal and welded them together during the ceremony to form a cross! So fun!
Congratulations, Macayla and Giles! Your day was so special, and I love that I got to be the one to photograph it all!
